Holding a master's degree and having both taught and administered at the college level, Roland is exceptional as an instructor! His background of success in education, sales, and management combines to make a unique, highly qualified instructor. The fact that he is still actively listing, marketing, and selling keeps the classes fresh as well as relevant to the current needs of students.
Gary Roland has established himself as the most outstanding instructor in the panhandle for both the salesperson's and broker's courses. His purpose in teaching is that the material be understood by the students--thereby, not only do the students know the material for the exam, but they also know how to apply it in the state exam. Roland's unique teaching methods keep the classes interesting and dynamic. Students appreciate the numerous learning and memorization methods that are woven throughout the class, making it easier to learn the material and to retain it longer.
Roland authored a much needed "The Nuts and Bolts of Real Estate--The Newer Agent's Quick Start to Success" course to meet the needs of newer agents. The course covers the practical application of the principles and practices, giving the newer agents the knowledge and application of such things as finding buyers and sellers, knowing how to determine the market values of properties, how to write the various types of purchase and sales agreements for buyers and sellers and how to write the numerous contingencies that may be necessary for particular buyers and sellers, how to compute net monies for sellers and buyers, etc.
Roland is a well-known and highly sought after instructor and seminar speaker. He is an author, trainer and developer, counselor, marketing expert, successful salesman, businessman, entrepreneur, investor. Is Distance Education Most Beneficial For Your Needs?
Give serious consideration to the following:
1. Is your computer and internet access adequate?
2. Can you work on your computer in a quiet and uninterrupted atmosphere/setting?
3. Does the learning of the content of the material mean more to you than classroom/teacher interaction?
4. Are you highly self-disciplined and motivated?
5. Are you unable to attend a structured classroom schedule either because of a work schedule, home responsibilities, or distance/travel to a classroom setting?
6. Are you able to read and understand content with little explanation and elaboration necessary?
7. Will it work to your advantage to not be bothered by explanations given to students who have difficulty in grasping certain concepts and your being able to ask and have answered by e-mail those questions that you have?
8. Is distance education best for you and your situation?
As you evaluate those questions, you can determine if distance education is best for you. As you consider our distance education courses, please be aware of your time constraints and needs over the classroom attendance requirements.
